Julia was very frightened when she first came home, but has gradually become
less and less of a "scared cat." Our vet says she's very healthy. Every morning
when we're getting ready for work and school, she goes back and forth from our son's
bathroom to our bathroom, purring and brushing herself against everything in her path.
She seems so very happy in her new home. When my husband and I sit down at night to watch
TV or read the paper, she lays on the ottoman between us and rests her head on my leg.
We are honored to have a new family member and to be able to provide a loving and forever
home for one of your many needy animals. I urge everyone I know to donate to The Haven and
to make the trip to Raeford to support your shelter and adopt a lifelong friend. Isn’t
she delightful! The Hart Family |
